Last Saturday was a success. Thank you Lord for providing us with the food, people and materials needed to put on this wonderful event.
Manna of Life had an “end of the summer” BBQ to provide the community with toys, food and necessities. Our main focus was having safety protocols in place. Having a mask on was required at all times. We also enforced social distancing (6ft apart) and provided hand sanitizer upon entry. Manna served over 100 people including men, women and children. At the event, we gave out clothing, toys, toiletries and PPE. The hot dogs and burgers were prepared by Chef Victor and his assistant Jerry. Along with the burgers and hotdogs, we also served sweet potatoes with marshmallows, collard greens, string beans, macaroni salad and more.
Thank you so much to the volunteers, staff, Chefs and partners who helped make this event a success. We couldn’t have pulled this off without you.
