In the States, April is National Volunteer Month.

We are grateful for all Manna of Life volunteers (pictured here are a few of our Manna staff: Erbin & Evelyn Cobian, Mirna Cruz, and Gladys Roman; NYPD Explorers and Officer Dili Jefferson; Priority One, Ladies Ministry from Carlisle, Sonia Vazquez, Diane Andujar, David Martinez, Lydia Villanueva, and so, so many others) who have dedicated their time and attention to the community. Their commitment helps us to ensure that individuals and families in need receive access to essential services and resources (food pantry, faith services, health support, etc.).

We invite everyone to celebrate National Volunteer Month by participating in Manna’s various volunteer opportunities. The first one is coming up this Saturday, during Earth Day: we are revealing our Garden of Hope 2023 and need help preparing and planting the garden beds.

Stay tuned for our upcoming garden post.

Please consider donating your time, your monetary contribution, or if you are a gardening enthusiast – we would happily accept the gift of seedlings!
