We recently celebrated a special bilingual Mother’s Day event on May 13th, 2023.
The organization aimed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could come together in unity to celebrate motherhood in all its forms.
The service was led by Pastor Jasmine Davila, who delivered an inspiring message that left everyone in attendance feeling uplifted and motivated. The worship session was equally delightful, with Stephanie and Jake leading everyone in singing soulful hymns and songs of praise.
After the service, those who attended were treated to a delicious lunch in the garden area next to the church. It was a perfect time to enjoy connecting over a good meal. As if that wasn’t enough, every attendee received a Mother’s Day gift bag as a token of appreciation. Our partners, Glory Girls Foundation (Glory Girls for Jesus) brought gifts and joy, as always! It definitely made for an unforgettable day at Manna of Life!
We also held our regular food pantry distribution and soup/sandwich grab-and-go.
Priority One Ministries organized clothing distribution, and NYPD Explorers volunteered in all areas!
