As Manna of Life marks its remarkable 29-year journey of compassion and service, we reflect on its humble beginnings in October 1995, when 38 turkey dinners sparked a movement that would touch hundreds of thousands of lives.
What started as a heartfelt response to hunger in our community has blossomed into a comprehensive mission of nourishment and care – reaching nearly 123,000 neighbors in 2023 alone.
Today, as we celebrate almost three decades of service, Manna of Life aims to embrace 500 families through our “Adopt-A-Family” campaign this holiday season—a testament to how far we’ve come from those first 38 meals.
Whether a turkey donation or a financial contribution, your gift becomes part of this continuing legacy of service and love. A donation of $80 can ensure a family of four enjoys a festive holiday meal, while $150 extends that blessing to a week of sustenance, and $200 allows us to support a Bronx family through both Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.
