Adopt-A-Family Campaign (Thanksgiving) Is In Full Swing!

Let’s cut through the noise for a second.

This weekend, you helped turn 119 roasters, 134 turkeys, and many overflowing bags of fresh produce (50 large bags were donated by Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital) into hope. Into dignity. Into a family sitting around a table, laughing instead of worrying.

Here is the kicker: Phase I was just the warm-up.

After distribution of Adopt-A-Family bags, we handed soup-and-sandwich hope to folks on the move. Then, Manna of Life staff and volunteers delivered FULL Thanksgiving dinner (think golden turkeys, mountains of veggies, pies, and pastries) as a surprise feast at Franklin Women’s Shelter for 85 residents and a few staff members.

Shoutouts to the heroes:

  • Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital (fresh veggies MVP)
  • Band of Brothers (clothing warriors)
  • buildOn (boots-on-the-ground legends)
  • Every Manna staff and volunteer who showed up ready.

But here’s where it gets urgent:

We’re racing toward Phase II (Christmas) and III (Three Kings Day), and right now, your donation is a multiplier.

Two anonymous donors are matching every dollar, up to 2,000, until we hit 4,000 total. That means your 50 becomes 100. Your 100 becomes 200. Your generosity? It gets stretched, twisted, and supercharged to light up more dark corners.

So, what’s stopping you?

  • Donate now. Double your impact.
  • Share a link to this blog. Ignite a chain reaction.
  • Volunteer. Be the hands that keep this machine humming.

Let’s make Phase II a success!

P.S. If you’ve ever doubted whether “just $10” matters, let us assure you: It’s the spark that starts the fire.
