A devastating fire in Allerton this Friday has left 285 of our Bronx neighbors suddenly displaced from their homes. Families lost their belongings and the security of having a place to call home in just moments. Across the country, in Los Angeles, California, another community faces similar devastation from destructive fires.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by these tragedies, both here in the Bronx and in Los Angeles. 🙏

Let’s lift up in prayer:

  • Those who have lost a loved one
  • Those who have lost their homes and cherished belongings
  • Families grieving the loss of irreplaceable memories and beloved pets
  • Our brave first responders working tirelessly to help those in need
  • The civil servants and aid workers providing emergency assistance
  • All those directly or indirectly affected by these devastating events
  • The communities coming together to support their neighbors

Any persons impacted who need recovery assistance and have not already connected with Red Cross services should contact 1-877-RED CROSS (1-877-733-2767)
